Purpose
Records must be classified so that sensitive documents receive stronger default controls.
Classification levels
- General — ride logs, non-sensitive training notes, goals, competition results and lesson summaries. Default: Private or Team Only depending on user settings.
- Care — farrier, dental, worming, saddle fitting, bodywork, feed and routine care reminders. Default: Private with easy selected sharing.
- Sensitive — vet reports, injury notes, lameness observations, medication records, rehab plans, insurance documents, ownership documents, invoices, emergency contacts and junior rider records. Default: Private or Selected People.
- Restricted — legal disputes, sale/lease contracts, safeguarding concerns, confidential club/business records and third-party material without clear authority. Default: Private and restricted from public links.
Default handling
Sensitive and restricted records are not automatically visible to all team members. When a record is classified as sensitive, the app displays a sharing warning and recommends time-limited access.
